All it takes is a single tear

To give away the person you are

Behind a stony, scary mask

A tear shows more by far

A tear is a sheild that's melted away

And slithers away 'cross your face

That comes from a hurt in your heart or your nerve

And come at an unwanted pace

A nerve tear is hollow

No truths lay inside

It doesn't much help you

Or help any, beside

A heart tear has meaning

It, a story behind

Whether trivial or real-felt

It's a wound to your mind

Where some tears help heal

Some just make your hurt worse

But they help the deep wounds

Can't be fixed by a nurse
