Poetry is considered writing right?

Well, I love poetry and I want to practice it since I don't have to do it in school. Will someone give me a topic to write about? (Ex. animals-birds,emotions-sadness,etc.)

Dragons, some are nice and some are evil

They lived in the medevial

Dragons breath fire

But dragons do inspire

Those who believe

See not what they seem

But they see it in their dreams

So make sure you think your dream through

Because if you do

They won't eaten

Or beaten

So be a dragon lover

Because dragons are discovered

As the best flying beasts

Who don't deserve to be loved the least.

Cats are very a very unpredictable pet

They can't be told what to do

So who knows what to expect

Cats have many different attitudes

But none cared how their viewed

Cats are cuddly, cats are nice

Cats are funny, cats catch mice!

So you might want to get a cat

Because to your house, cats add spice!

Do a poem about faeries. And not the tinkerbell kind. The kind that comes up in mythology.

Nevermind. XD I'm too lazy to explain it. It's very complicated.

Do a Short Little Ryhme 

about the Parodox of Time!

(like Paradox Time Travel)

A wrinkle in time,

A paradox of time!

Its not that easy to find

And don't get left behind

For the paradox of time

Is not always kind

For being left behind

Can cause a giant flaw

That cannot be stalled

A change that can happen

A change where you have to shut your trap and

Figure out a way

To whiz time away

And leave time a bay

All because you where left behind

In the Paradox of Time.

Lola-Yes I know, there are many style of poetry- Haikus, and the others that I can't remember their names at the time. XD I know about them all. For Valentines day I had to do all those kinds of poems. It was really hard.

I am not good at it, but my favorite styles are the ones with deep meaning. They are hard to make, (I think) but if you understand the deep meaning, its Beautiful! ^^ But they don't necessarily rhyme at all. I know what you mean Lola. ^^

It is a risk for every site

The falling of Tygras was truly sad

For the site itself was not all that bad

But 'alas no one could tell

The fate of the site that fell

Because the site began to fall

By the time you could finally stall

srsmith, thats very true. ^^ But I like to always prefer to hide any of my sadness and sorrow. I always want to look on the brighter side of life. If you know what I mean. ^^
