PART 1:
Kicking rocks into the pond, I tentatively stared at the birds flying across the sky. If only there was somewhere else; I wish there was a place that allowed me to explore the unknown. A place where I could scatter my dreams along the blue ocean and all over the clear skies. I threw my dried hands into the cold water. My hand clutches onto a rock, and I bring it into my vision. I would throw it back into the pond if only this was a rock.
It appears to be an egg. A plain blue egg. Possibly it is a bird egg. No...no! This is much more than that! It's larger than a bird egg. I rub my finger across the shell. It is warm and slightly heavy. I examine it closely, making sure there isn't any cracks. Nothing. This is a perfect egg. How? Why would there be an egg in water anyway? What is this? I hold it close to me. The sun starts to set. I have learned in my previous years at school, that eggs must be kept at the PERFECT temperature. With bird eggs, if you touch them they die. Although, this is far from a bird egg. I take a risk and gently lay it in my jacket. Planning on looking on the internet for answers, I get up to head home. However, someone else had a different plan.
