Starting with the story of Varme my OAK Haberisar.
Varme is norwegian for Warmth.
When I first got to settle down in the forest of Atquati, I had a magnificent meeting with a very special Haberisar.
Deep within the Atqueen forest I was traveling. I was only traveling to find some special herbs to an elixir, when I see her. The most beautiful creature I had ever seen. She was grey, and her spikes was filled with leafs and moss. Her spikes was small, and a small pink flower had got stuck between her spikes. Her eyes was brown and peaceful. I had never seen such a special Haberisar!
I found her wounded in a hidden place within the forest. She had managed to get stuck in some long branches with thorns. She couldn't move and was moaning for help. I ran to her; she was frightened - I reacted fast and started going slowly towards her. She was trying to run away, but managed to hurt herself even more by the thorns.
To calm her I sat down, to show that I did not want to do her any harm. (She was a wild unknown haberisar, who never had seen a human before, so no wonder she was scared.) I stroke her on her spikes to say that I was there for nothing bad. She closed her eyes, as in a sign that she accepted me and accepted help.
I used a knife to cut the branches, and carefully took the thorns out. When suddenly the Haberisar stood up, like this amazing magnificent creatu. At that time I was sure she was going to attack me or run away - but she didn't. She just stood there. Looking at me. I was frightened there I sat. Almost couldn't move.
Suddenly she sat down. A haberisar sitting? Yes that was my first thought aswell. She didnt even move. It was almost like she smiled at me. Seeing as I understood this was a very special and rare Haberisar, I wanted to leave her alone, to continue her life. I was looking weird of her wondering what she even wanted. I slowly turned and started walking towards the exit of that part of the forest.
I had been walking for about 5 minutes when I heard a branch crack. I looked back, and the Haberisar was there. She wasn't even scared. She just looked at me, and I could see in her eyes that she was lonely. She was the only one I had seen of her kind so I would understand that she was lonely. I tried 'shooing' her away - but it didn't help. She just wanted to follow me.
I was really confused. She followed me all the way back home. I thought that if I just went to bed she would be gone by the morning. So I laid down, and slept.
The next morning I woke up, and went out - no Haberisar. I was a bit sad to be honest. I kind of got a good feeling of her. Of being with her. And now she were gone. Probably forever.
-
But man were I wrong. I suddenly heard a bulder of noice coming from inside the house.
And my first thought was: Are... you... kidding... me.
There she was, she had dyes all over herself, she was wet and stood in a pile of books which had fallen out of the bookshelf. The house was a mess and she was standing in it.
-
From that day on - she never left the house. She's one messy Haberisar.
Clumsy in her own little way. And very stubborn!
Varme and I just found each other. We became best friends.
She even helped me with moving rocks and wood.
I named her Varme. Because of the reason she made me feel warm when she was close to me.
Warm and safe.
