"My name is Torynne and I was a rogue ivolved in Echovoice's attack" was all I got in before a paw flashed out and caught the side of my face, claws extended. It burned, but I didn't flinch or look away. A brown and gray tom was threr I asumed it was him because he seemed very angry. "
"Back off Timberfur, that enough," a sandy coloured she cat with amber eyes said before looking at me. "Greetings Torynne I am Cavestar. It is nice  to meet you. I can't say we meet on good terms, but nonetheless welcome" I dipped my head in respect like I had seen the other cats do.
"Thank you for having me here. I want to explain what happened that day with Echovoice. Iceheart came to our territory and told us we needed to get rid of 'bad blood'. He said we were getting rid of 'filth'. We all *censored*umed it was some other rogue or a cat like Redeye who was killing cats relentlessly. Little did me and my sister know it was him trying to kill Echovoice" Murmurs of shocked arose and cats started takling until Cavestar hushed them all with a glare.
"So I left our part of the forest" I continued, "And ran long and far trying to get away from him, but he found me. He said if I didn't fight and he would kill my sister" The clan gasped. "I couldn't say no, but how could I agree? So I stayed with him and ran away again during the attack with all the screeching and fighting he couldn't hear or see me run. And thats how I ended up here" Timberfur came up to me with Echovoice and apologized for the attack on me earlier and I forgave him vey easily. Echovoice thanked me for the truth and for proving her right. Some cats hadn't believed her. It was nice to see the softer side of him as he was walking back to the crowds whisperig sofltly in his mates ear.
"I just have one thing to ask of you" I said as I leaped after Cavestar.
"Yes Torynne?"
"Would I, ummm... could I possibly join thje clan?" She looked at me surprised, but not at all unhapp,
"Yes" the clan was very shocked by this and sstatrted to talk among themselves they continueed to do this until she once again silenced them with a glare. It was quiet until a young cat named Lionfeather blurted out
"But she's a rogue! She can't get in without a fair trial!" Cavestar looked angry. "Fair? You call what was done to you and I fair?" She was outraged at him
"But" he peeped
There will be NO trial" she almost yelled he ducked his and said
"Yes Cavestar" She turned back to me and said,
"So I *censored*um you know how to hunt?" I nodded. "And fight?" I nodded again. "Very well we will hold your ceremony after sunhigh" I was amazed to say the least I had been expecting to have to defend myslef against harsh words and accusations. It seemed like the clan wanted me there, even Lionfeather. My mother was a clan cat, I can imagine her, up in Silverpelt looking down on me and my sister hopefully proud of us. She was a member of FireClan and was killed when the dogs attacked. The next day at my ceremony I was named Talonstripe and Cavestar seemed so proud of me. I didn't now why so I shrugged it off. That night I had to hold my vigil and keep silent while guarding the camp. The day after I guarded I slpet almost the entire afternoon. I woke up to two cats talking, I walked over and they introduced themselves the silver she cats name was Swiftfoot and the tortoiseshell tabby toms name was Sparrowhawk.Every time I looked over I could see Sparrowhawk looking back at me. Everytime that our eyes met I blushed and looked away. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Swiftfoot was quite entertained by all this so I ran ahead and scouted for prey. Little did I know that I spent the entire afternoon with the best friends a cat could ever have.
