Today, I told you a lie. "You sure you're okay?" You asked, concerned. "I am," I snapped, blinking back tears. "You're not going to be okay if you ask me that again."
You kept quiet and slunk away, feeling useless.
After you'd left, I, too, slunk away, hurting at the left of the chest. It hurt to tell lies.
It felt as if we were just titled friends, without any meaning to it, when you just walked away without saying anything after I delivered a stinging slap to your face.
'Aren't you guilty?!' I yelled at you, while you slowly became smaller and smaller, as you faced the sun , letting it's rays beat on your face, and cried.
You walked towards your home, and I turned around , ready to go home too.
I saw your tear spill on the road.
