When I'm on the forums, I am not shown alerts or updates. D; But when I get offof the forums and go to my showroom or something, they show.

This isn't a bug, it's just how the forums work now. There's a suggestion somewhere to have alerts everywhere, including the forum, as it can be quite a hassle for those on the forum often.
