So I've tested this several days in a row now, and I think there's a glitch/bug/something (unless I'm just mistaken). Supposedly the limit for hunting for creatu is 10 times, yet I never seem to be able to hunt more than about 8 times. Am I missing something?
Since I read this thread, I've been trying to keep track of it.
It seems to be a problem with when you pick up a pet. I could be wrong, so maybe other people could watch for this? For example, if I pick up 1 pet, I get 9 total hunts, but if I pick up 2, I only get 8.
I think because it refreshes after you name the pet, it's counting that as a hunt, even though it's not.
I don't think that the workaround means we shouldn't fix it. Part of the draw of the forest (at least for me) is that if a pet is skipped over it has a chance of being deleted entirely. Skipping in the hopes that happens to a random natural that I would be tossing back in anyway shouldn't cut down on my total searches.
