I recently came across a few auctions that I was dying to bid on, though when I attempted to make a bid the error message(Oops! The bid you have made is invalid) would come up. I have more than enough tu, and for every attempt at bidding I would be entering the correct minimal amount. I even tried entering less, and then more than the minimal bid yet that same error code popped up. 

I'd really love to get some feedback on this, so thanks to anyone who can help me.

Are you putting commas in your bid? If so that may be the problem.

No, commas aren't being used. I've made sure to review my bids before submitting them, yet unfortunately that error code pops up more than half of the time.

I am pretty sure then that you are entering something that isn't a valid number, like maybe including an accidental space at the end, or at the time you were bidding, someone else bid at the same time and outbid you. I tested thoroughly and I could not get the error message to happen.

I have honestly checked over everything, and attempted to submit bids minutes later after the first failed attempts, even without another bidding. There are no spaces at the end, commas, invalid numbers or anything of the sort. I've been careful to watch what I place in the bidding area, I always am due to the fact that this keeps happening. I thought at first I was doing something wrong, but I went over every possibility and it still comes out with the error message. It didn't start until just a few days ago, and happens with a handful of the auctions I attempt to bid on. So it may just be a temporary thing, though I'll continue to do what I can on my end just in case it's where the little issue is coming from.

It's an old topic, but I seem to have the same issue. Some auctions I can bid on, some display this 'invalid bid' message.

When this happens, it's possible someone else has made a bid since you loaded the page, meaning the bid would need to be higher.
