Seeing how there is no activity between December 26 and today, that means the food pen was empty as of December 26th when it fed the last of the food to your pets. You restocked it on the 15th, so at reset on the 16th, it started feeding again. There is no glitch that would cause the food pen to empty, so I'm thinking that like you mentioned in the first post, you may have forgotten to stock it to the food pen.
I'll issue you a resurrection potion for Sammuel because he is in the grave with hunger points. There won't be an alert, but it will appear in your inventory.
There is an issue with certain pets that causes this to happen - the coders just haven't been able to pin down what is going on yet. From the looks of the log though, and the amount of hunger points he has in the grave, I'm betting the dying and feeding are occurring simultaneously - because he was already in dying status for so long, he went into the grave, but was fed anyway because for a split second after reset he was still on the profile.
Technically he shouldn't have been fed at all...but this situation may have helped solve the whole mystery of pets in the grave with hunger points. =)
