It's happened a couple times, not too often though and I didn't think too much about it at first but, sometimes I click to collect a certain egg and for some reason a different creatu egg is in my hatchery. Like today, I found and clicked a Malal egg and it said that I picked it up, but the only new un-incubated egg in my hatchery was a Skaldyr egg.
It happened a little while back too when I tried to collect a Veram egg and some other egg appeared in my hatchery, but I thought maybe I accidentally clicked the other one along the way somewhere.
