You just lucked out if you never had a problem till now lol.
IE is notorious for misbehaving on websites...it does not adhere to code compliance standards on the web, and causes problems for websites everywhere. It's a nightmare. x.x It also opens your computer up to being attacked by malicious code embedded in websites, and is the #1 way users of windows get infected with malware, spyware, viruses, etc.
Pat has tried to find a way to make it work with the hatchery, but it isn't cooperating. So until then, Firefox and Chrome will have to do.
