Finally, I had a color change again in the springs. To lemon. A color I liked so I was happy xD I selected a pet and said I accepted the change and.. gone. My selected pet was not lemon, neither was the pet selected when I entered the springs. So I went to the springs again and it says I used my time today D:
I heard from some people beaning didn't work too. And tomorrow I heard something 'bout dye kits not working.. I really want my Shaefu to be turned lemon ff :C
That glitch no longer works and it was in fact a glitch. By reporting this "Glitch" you're actually confirming the real glitch has been fixed. XD It was never Patrick's intention to allow you to choose what pet you wanted to be dyed. Whatever pet you went into the springs with was the pet the choice was intended for.
If you want it to be lemon keep your Shaefu active when going to the Springs (Although I heard somewhere that might not work for CS pets? I don't know, info on all this is fuzzy.) or be old fashion and get a Lemon Dye Kit.

I thought it only didn't work for retired CS'sers. [With people turning them black/albino] I mean.. a dye color on a CSser adds only the value of the DK to the pet, the same way as it is with 'normal' pets so it shouldn't be a problem, right? D:
And If I can't turn my Shaefu in a color, why doesn't the spring say that so I can select another pet? Nothing happened and my turn for today is gone, that's not fair either D: I should at least get a chance to change the pet. Just like normal dye kits don't work on Retired CS'sers, but you still get the chance to use it again xD
I don't know the deal with the regular CS. Someone said that it wouldn't change any CS and possibly Mutants because of the unusual specifications. Instead of just writing out Natural, Trance and G&S of the code, they also have to specify that CS and Mutants can't be changed to Hatchable Colours. I don't think the coding is exactly complete yet.
And maybe I'm confused, but didn't you start with a normal creatu, get the Lemon option, then try to change to Shaefu to accept? That's not how it is supposed to work. if you had a Shaefu active, it wouldn't have given you the choice at all. I think Patrick is working on making it so you can't switch pets until you accept or decline the option, to write out this glitch entirely.
*shrugs* It's just a matter of luck, and why Dye Kits will not become obsolete. You can either not care what colour your creatu changes if given the option using the Springs, or you can care and buy a Dye Kit. That's why I only use the springs with Creatu I don't have a particular colour in mind for.
I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to dye non-retired CS pets to Dye Kit colours other than the Springs just not being fully developed yet. The way I was told it sounded like Patrick removed that chance for CS but I don't know for certain.
However, we were never supposed to be able to switch Creatu mid change and get the creatu we chose dyed.
Springs color changes were only intended to work on the pet you had selected before visiting. Soo, if you want a color change, select the pet before you visit or it won't be valid.
Patrick's official stance (finally heard back a couple days ago) on this is that switching pets to accept a color change is cheating.
