I am unable to name a hatchling; I know the name is not taken, and when I click the "Finish hatching your creatu" it does nothing.

Does the name have spaces or special characters in it?
If it does it won't work because names can't have those. ^^

i know if i use my 3DS to hatch,it will NOT name,
or finish hatching my creatu. only when i use
a computer-computer...that it works.

So,if maybe its a cell you are using for the 3DS
like me.

if not, then I'm not shure why you cant name it.

Sometimes you think that the name is not taken but it really is. The name may turn green sometimes to indicate that it is available but it really isn't for some reason because the system has to go through a lot of names so you would have to type it again just to make sure that it is indeed not taken. Also, to check that the name is free, you can hover through Information and go to Creatu Search, there is an area there to check name availability.

If you did all these and found out that your name is really available, it must be the case that the name you want contains a word that is not allowed on site.

I found the problem! I had to press space after I typed in the name, and I meant to backspace after but forgot to. So the space made it impossible for me to create. :) Thanks for the help guys.
