Dapples!  Please do not think it will look like my picture. I know it is hiddeous. It is just a poor example. But spots and speckles on the white coat in many different colors would be so cool! Or there could be different color spots and speckles on different color coats.
The Dye Kits could just look like the normal Dye Kits, but busted, like someone stepped on it. "Busted Red Dye Kit".

I was thinking it would just turn your pet white with splotches. I think that would be the easiest way to go about it. Like, bino, but with black eyes and colored splotches. :) Or other colors as well with different colored splotches. Like, make the entire pet's design the same color (no line editing) as the base color so that it does not clash.

Hmm, it's an interesting idea. I think it would be so cool if you could actually color your pets yourself, or choose from like a variety of patterns. But dyed pets are already hard enough to get, or at least getting a lot of them is. Poor people should be able to do stuff with their pets too. xD

Lol. Well, with saving, people go from poor to... Not poor? But, I guess I see what you are saying. That is a neat idea though. To be able to do something to your pet yourself.

Yeah, but it's hard because things tend to be really expensive, especially for a newbie. Haha but I guess people can already design their own pets, like what you did with the zennie or just from getting art commissions. ^^

Let's not go in the direction of Neopet's paintbrushes, which is the same thing as 'choose your pets own color'. Also, I think it would be difficult to allow users to choose like infinite possibilities on looks for your pet. o_o I might have read your posts wrong. Also, I support the busted dye kit.

It could possibly just be put as a new use for the small dye bottles. P: There's too little to cover a whole Creatu, so you'd have to get a little creative with it - and most likely get something like this.

I think it's a cute concept and I would most likely end up dyeing a pet if it were to go through. However, I can see where there may be problems with creatu such as the Gondra. These would look very.. odd without their original stripes, so I'm not 100% sure on how it would work.

If we could have such patterns, there would be people having multiple patterns on each creatu and designing it etc. I dont make any sense, but wont it seem a little like wajas then? o_o;

I don't think we should be able to combine different patterns and stuff, the dye should completely cover the creatu, like the other dyes. It probably would end up like wajas, and it would just be too messy and crazy. Pets would probably drop in worth too, if you could make creatu so custom and personal. It would be hard to sell pets will a million designs if other people don't like the way it looks. Like what Reapy said, it should make the creatu pure white with the design or something. I don't like the thought of rainbow colors, or anything like neopets though, I prefer more natural things. I always liked Res's more realistic pets. They are getting a little cartoony and cutesy, but I still love them. But I love the idea of a busted dye!

I like the Busted dye kit idea, but I think it should be different for different pets. Zenirix could have splotches, while Goiba might get a speckled shell. Maybe you could do something to a Dye Kit to make it broken. That way, you could turn a Rose Dye Kit into a Busted Rose Dye Kit, or a Lemon Dye Kit into a Busted Lemon Dye Kit.

ject (sorta). Here's why: Think of the artists and the GA's. They have enough to do already, with the v 1.5 of Res coming on. They'll have to work with the other staff to ensure this new generation of Res will be better than before, which probably will include a revamp of the ENTIRE site, new planet pictures, etc. etc. Also, the GA's and artists will have to continue to code new stuff, along with making the glitchy HA clothing work, making more HA clothing, styles, etc. So that's a lot of work. Now think of the busted DKs. If it makes a certain pattern for every type of creatu, that might be okay. But say, you're allowed to 'la
yer' the splotches and stuff, that's a whole different story. It'd be a catastrophe for both us and the staff. Also, what would happen if you used a rose DK on a ginger creatu? Pointless. The splotches won't show up very well, and then where would your hard earned tu go? Same thing with lime on say, a nattie gondra. Same color, different shades. The lime would have to be amazingly bright to stand out. To me, your idea would only work extremely well on plain cream creatu, or albino's. Dappling, or other color patterns would be straying closer and closer to Neopets and Wajas, where you can 'design' your pets and stuff, and I honestly do NOT want that to happen.
