Normal User Posts: 63	The second one reminds me of a griffon somehow. :O Both of them are very nicely done, anyway, and I think that if this were to be released, it should be released as a seasonal, as Water said, since there are still a few holidays without creatu.

Anyway, yes I'm aware it has only one wing, I'm pondering if the mark on it's shoulder should be like yin and yang, and have one wing feathered one wing leathery. :3 It's like a good front half and a bad back half. :o Which CS creatu would you like to see Stardusted first?

Normal User Posts: 1,775	Usually, I do write constructive criticism, but that day my brain was broken and I had to point that out. And I apologise if I offended you with my 'useless' comparison (it's just my opinion and one of the main reasons why I don't really support it, 'kay?). So now I will write some constructive criticism. Okay, designing creatures is a difficult task to undertake, so it is very easy to make something that looks similar to something else without noticing. Alright, in MY opinion, designing animals is not just about taking things from existing animals and sticking it on another animal. You can do that to create a chimera, but we don't want res to be a place full of chimeras wouldn't we? (and besides, there's a new pet site based around chimeras in development). Here is a very good tutorial in designing creatures (but it requires some knowledge on anatomy and art theory to understand) CLICKIT What I think this design looks like is a griffin like thing (which we already have, the uilus [owl-griffin, at least]) the art does look similar to a tesuri/meiko. Y'know, with the wings and junk. I think another way you could make your design better would be to pick a theme to design around. Some examples of themed creatures would be this (metal, old), this (winter) and this (I did this one, it's based around the moon and stars). Another way of making creatures would be to bend the anatomy and turn it into a weird freak (http://shinerai.deviantart.com/art/skipperkiss-131683893 [the link thing broke, I dunno why]).I love skipperkiss by the way, the person who designed him is a genius.
