Does anyone else have profiles who's modules have exploded? Some people have profile comments everywhere and have broken text in their account info box. XD

Theft of banners, other graphics, and any art is against the rules, and is a bannable offence. It will not be tolerated on rescreatu.

Coding theft is also a bannable offence and will not be tolerated on rescreatu. If you are suspicious of a user stealing your code and using it as their own without consent, and it is CLEARLY your coding, please send in a support ticket with your reasoning and details, and it will be dealt with.

 
Of course, if someone just so happens to have the same basic div la
yer coding, that isn't theft. A large portion of the profile must closely match your own.

Art theft has been a bannable offence since the site exists, still...
I had done commissions before. Then someone asked me for a banner and said they would pay me a natural colored jelly bean. I drew the banner, nicely, according to all requests and instructions, and sent them the link of the finished picture in Rmail.
And they posted in SB that they sent the bean. It looked like an average copy-paste of item sending:
"Your Natural Colored Jellybean has been sent to Yaizhbeen."...but, it was typod. "Jelly Bean" is two word, not one, like "Jellybean". Of course the item never arrived, and I complained. They insisted that they sent it.

I asked someone from staff to look into this. All Rmails about the banner request, the promised payment, the requested art details and the Rmail in which I sent the link were still in my inbox to check. Staff can see item movements as far as I know, all I wanted to know if they really sent the item and it get lost in a glitch (which I gladly accept), or they just try to rip me of my payment. Unpaid art commissions I consider art theft.

Staff promised to check it.
Nothing happened. Nothing.
I never got a notice if it was a glitch or what. I never got my jelly bean. The other user is still active and playing Res happily ever after.

And that was the last time I accepted banner commission.

So I guess, about codes you can expect about the same. Rule or not. I wish it wasn't like that. T_T
