Hey, I know I'm not the only one who would like there to be a few ways to earn more hatches a day... I was turning the thought over in my head and here are the ideas i came up with:

 > What if we were given one more hatch for every *insert reasonalbe time period here* we were active?

> What about if we got two more hatches for getting high scores on games or at the gym or in other areas around rescreatu where you can gain high scors?

If any one should happen to come up with any other ideas, pelase feel free to post them. ^_^

The reason the hatch rate is 3 for everyone is because when the pets first started to get colors you were allowed to hatch non stop. So they put the rate limit at three, which I find enough.

I do not think it would be fair if merchants couldn't hatch at all. Taking away the surprise of hatches kills all fun in the game. One hatch a day is few enough, I do not think it should be taken away (to make it clear, I am a Rancher too, and never been a Merchant, so I post my opinion as a Rancher).

Actually this was discussed once, way before, when the number of hatches was decreased, and there one of the suggestions was that if all hatches were taken away from Merchants, so they are forced to buy all their pets from Ranchers, Ranchers should not be able to buy anything from the general stores, so they are forced to buy all items from Merchants. Another idea was, that only Merchants should be able to find eggs but only Ranchers should be able to hatch. Harsh as it sounds, but I agree that only one of these two solutions could make the decision of taking away all hatches fair. I am not sure I would like either one, but it would be interesting, for sure, as it would surely make the two clas.ses dependent on each other :).

sure ranchers can buy from the main shop just as merchants can.. but we have no feasible way of selling items as the merchants do. to sell items, we'd have to make 18 million trades or auctions to make it worthwhile.  on the otherhand.. merchants DO have feasible options to sell the pets they hatch, because they do not have many.  thus they have the ability to hatch and then either auction through the pet auctions or sell through the shout box or in the forums (keeping it in their gallery in the meantime before it sells).

just sayin'.. merchants kind of have the best of both worlds because they can hatch AND sell pets, and buy/ sell items.  ranchers don't have that same versatility.

the only reason I have not converted to a merchant myself is because I like being able to hatch 3 eggs every day. thats it.  I think I'd otherwise like being a merchant better, but for that one fact of decreased hatches.

There's a reason why we have a hatching limit. Think a little bit past 'what you want', and start thinking about the reasoning behind such restrictions.

I am entirely against any topic even slightly relative to this matter.
