The reason why they do not do this is because it would be too easy to kill your pet to name it, they want some use of a name tag!

you do realize you can kill your pets if you had an empty one o_o and name tags are still important whether you can kill your pets or not

Yeah, it i kind of weird that that is the reasoning, because I do believe you can send food in the pen to other users or just eat it all. It would still be just as easy, and I have put stuff in my food pen on accident that I wish to take out. Support definitely <3

Support. If they have an issue with making it "easier" to rename pets, they need to fix the renaming system instead of causing trouble for users in another section of the site.
