Yeah, I think it might be useful if you receive an alert when your pet dies. I know I could have lost some names that way, and I know it's happened to others. I'm one of those people that always forgets to stock my food pen, and although I'm usually pretty good about feeding my pets by hand, I do forget sometimes.

You should probably have the option to turn something like this off though.

Maybe possibly also have a report for when your foodpen is out of food? It would help cut down on the "your pet has died of starvation, what a horrible owner you are," and more "your food pen is out of food and your pets are considering having you for lunch." Support

Maybe an option to send out an email alert, too?  I can't get on Res very much because it doesn't work on my fiancee's phone, but I can get emails.  If I need to restock my food pen or something I can drive over to my fiancee's parents and borrow their internet for a bit, but it can't be a regular thing.  So emails would help a lot.
