I searched the whole suggestion pages, and couldn't find this. So, let me know if I missed it. D:

For this site, I mostly stay in the role playing forum. But, sometimes I get alerts (Like rmail, etc...). The only time that yellow alert thing comes up is if I am anywhere else but the forums. 
I don't know if it's just my computer or the actual site. I should probably put this in the 'bugs and glitches' category. Oh well. But, back to the suggestion, they should make it to where at the forums, you can still be notified with those things. D:

If anything, we should have it sort of like Facebook.
Like how it says up on the tab/window "(x) Rescreatu"
where x is the number of alerts you have.

It would help a lot in the forums and make it easier to reply to threads if they're in different sections of the forum.

lolol Spazzy, my Facebook isn't like that. It just has a tab for notifications, with a red number on the icon. 
But, if that's what you meant by what you said, then I support what you said. Some kind of notification alert.

CH - That too. xD
It might be different for each browsers.
Because on Chrome, there's a notification on the tab itself right next to the Facebook name about how many alerts I have, without actually looking at the Facebook page.
