Basically what the ti tle says. The user modal that pops up in the SB (and in other places, since I assume it's the same modal) is incredible and I love all the places you can go right away. The issue is that there's no way to ctrl+click or cmd+click (depending on if it's PC or Mac) to open that location in a new tab, so I'm forced to leave the large SB or whatever other page I'm on to get to it. Before, if you clicked a user's name on the SB it would open in a new tab. I love the new modal instead and I don't even mind the default (if you just click) being to stay on the same page, but just the ability to ctrl+click to open in a new tab would be SO nice.
I don't normally use a mouse, I use a track pad. Right clicking also doesn't open the dropdown that allows for "open in new tab." I did just pull out my mouse and plug it in to test though and no, the middle click doesn't work either (probably for the same reason that ctrl+click/cmd+click/right click don't. I think middle click is just a shortcut for the first two.
