Maybe having birthstone Creatu available like seasonals, only able to be found in their month, rather than actually being for a person's birthday? Because some people don't celebrate, but it would be a cool collection to work for.

Gemstones; forget them being about birthdays. Perhaps they're INCREDIBLY rare, CS, or Malcolm/Cain sells them. For a lot.
But they should be very difficult to find.
And be an egg, not an egg "accessory".
See, Malcolm needs some animals to sell. Everyone else does.
