The number of times a book can be read is totally random. It can break any time.

Yup, book breaks are completely random. Sometimes they break the first time, sometimes you can get 15 reads out of them /shrugs/

But anyways, I'd love to know how much intellect it gives me, so support for that aspect of it :3
