It doesn't necessarily have to be a butterfly, but it seems a good way to tie it into the Botanist Quest. He uses the flowers you get him to catch the wild creatu, since they like the nectar.
And they could live in the forest but be really sneaky or camoflauged or something. xD

Going with the whole plant theme here. How about a Venus Fly Trap pet? Or another carnivorous plant? Maybe a Sundew plant, which looks like this -> tle="Sundew Plant" target="_blank">Link or tle="Sundew Plant 2" target="_blank">Link2 I'd put the pics up, but I can't re-size them. You could also incorporate a plant into an animal that's seen as a pest and it uses its flowery appearance to sneak into gardens to eat the plants that reside there or you could go opposite and say something like, it uses the guise to attract pesky animals or bugs that would do harm to the garden that it resides in and eats them or removes them. Something like those ideas maybe?

Something cute and soft with dew flower spikey thingies like the second image Frost posted on it's back :o That'd be pretty. I'd totally buy that. A deer would look really pretty...
We will very likely have a exclusive Creatu for this feature in the future. I already have a design in mind. So far no one has quite hit it in these suggestions, but a few get close. ...but I am tempted to scrap the concept for a slug creatu!! XD probably not really but yay mollusks of the land!
When it comes time to start production I'll be referring to ideas here :}
