I need to order some staff items for myself in the next couple of months, and I would be honored if you all would help brainstorm ideas and concepts for how they should look.
There should be a similar theme among the items, but some differences are fine too!
You can see my staff forum avatar, staff apple and staff balloon by clicking the links. I am really wanting a revamp of those items, but I like the broken mirror/glass idea, and the butterfly too. I'd like to go with some deeper shades of blue and blue-based purple in there though.
Okay, so the list of things I need to come up with:
- Staff squishy (everyone on site has access to buy)
- Book item (everyone on site has access to buy)
- HA wearable (everyone on site has access to buy)
- OAK item (Means one of a kind, only one item ever created)
- Staff weapon (everyone on site has access to buy)
I would like to stick with a butterfly design for the squishy, but I am completely open to different suggestions, and to design suggestions.
The book item, I just need ideas for the art and the colors. The content is going to be about a mischievous shoutbox user who blames her cat for many things. ;)
The HA wearable can't be really complex, and it can't be an entire outfit. I would prefer something in the Accessory, Add On, Head (preferably a wig), or Hand Held categories, but I am open to suggestions for other categories.
The OAK item can be in any category. A toy, another HA item (again, simple), but there will only be one of these in the game. I sort of have an idea of what I want for this one already, but I'd like to see what is suggested anyway!
The staff weapon...I've always referred to bringing out my cast-iron banskillet to deal with a rowdy user, so that's one idea xD But again, any suggestions would be great.
On a side note! Any of you guys who are into drawing art and have an idea for revamping the forum avatar, apple, and balloon, please rmail me and give me an idea of what you have in mind. You will be paid in either TU, credits, or CP if I decide to hire you to draw these!
I may also decide to have a user draw the other items, in which case, you will also be paid accordingly. Anything other than rough sketches shouldn't be posted in this thread though, they should be sent directly to rmail.
Please be aware that if this does happen, the art you submit will belong to Rescreatu. It won't belong to me, it will belong to the site. So don't draw me a design that you love and would want to use somewhere else <3
