Ya know what, I just realized that: Wajas is a breeding site, Rescreatu is a Hatching Site, just like Neopets is a...um...*thinks* just a pet site. Come to think of it the collecting eggs and the hatching them is actually what aids in making Rescreatu so neat. I change my opinion, Rescreatu could however if they ever made it big enough make a second site called Rescreatu (where all the eggs come from) (lol). And THAT could be a breeding site *haha* yes, yes. it's really early and I'm delirious, never heard it put that way before...makes sense.

Hello, this is like the gazillionth time I've told people this: FAT, SLOW WEBSITE. Yes, you aren't the only one that thought of this. If it was a good idea, why hasn't it been put in action? Wajas is pretty ok, but y'see... The site gets downtime and glitches happen all the time. They have been closed for maintenence for over a year.

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention a point: If we were allowed to breed (which would be unlikely) We should not be given the opportunity to pick the gender or personality of the offspring. Only allowing the name to be chosen. Hatching (and finding eggs) should be removed completely. Oh yes... Things will definitly be more fun, wouldn't it?

1.) Breeding creatu here wouldn't work(at least not the way most people would want it to.)...the creatu come as eggs. 2) (Hatching and finding eggs wouldn't have to be removed completely it could be another viable option if used with the system formed from the other breeding post that I mentioned) 3.) Pings got a point, we shouldn't be thinking of breeding right now anyway. The website at this moment is so full of glitches, and bugs, and slow downs, and can't even handle 100 users... it's concentration shouldn't be on 'breeding' it really should be on what it's now, fixing these bugs, and making the game better and able to handle more people (which is what it wants, how can they ask for people to play when they can't handle more than a hundred right now at once?), fixing up the systems, then adding more artwork and pretty things, and revamps for other creatu that still are lagging behind. More holiday creatu, and not just the traditional kind (if we want to open the doors to people of more backgrounds and not be biased towards just one specific culture...), focusing then on 'showing' off the new glam rescreatu. (oh yeah and somewhere in there adding more games) And then after everythings been revamped as a whole, think about adding a completely new system/way of things that the people who have been playing rescreatu traditionallyfor the egg hatching bit not the breeding bit are against. That which Patrick has said he won't consider, then would be an option. And if you don't like that it is what it is right now, and that it will never be that. Someone get some programming skills, and some neat artists, and with what you know about games and how to make it work make one of your own, and I will play it. Otherwise, keep suggesting/dreaming I doubt it will happen, he's already said No.

I don't think that breeding Creatu is such a good idea... For example, if Seasonals were bred there'd be more of them than there should be, then making the whole 'seasonal' idea rather pointless. Rare Creatu wouldn't be rare anymore because there'd be so many of them, same goes for Credit Shop pets. :P Things just wouldn't be like they used to. Every Creatu would be equal value and nothing would be worth saving up for - except for the 1-in-a-hundred rare-coloured pets that only have a small change of being hatched. Secondly, there are so many unwanted Creatu in ranches and the Forest. Would it really be a good idea if people bred their Creatu, only to find that they don't like the babies? Some users (and I ain't holding a grudge) only want Creatu for their rarity, appearance ect - which is perfectly understandable. But very little care about the Creatu that aren't worth much. I guess that out of all the young Creatu that would be born, only a few would appeal to some users. D'ya get me? And, like some guys here have said, hatching has been Res' special thing. I would really dislike it if Rescreatu became like Wajas. Wajas is Wajas, Rescreatu is Rescreatu. If you want to breed virtual animals, play Wajas. Rescreatu's economy would be spoilt if breeding was a possibility. This is just my opinion. :3 Oh, and something some of the users mentioned here about two albinos' babies being albinos themselves reminded me of something I read about once. The chances of an albino being born to an albino mother are 1 in a million - truthfully. So, you could have two albinos and breed them - but the babies wouldn't be the same, unless some glitch in nature changes that. The whole 'babies-look-like-a-cross-between-their-parents' thing is both true and false. In some cases it's true (even with plants), although bear in mind not always. Sometimes the children look like their grandparents, with a similarity between them passed down through their parents. :3

I don't think there is a point to the breeding thing only because you're laying an egg to begin with, you're just doing the same thing. After I went through the whole process, in the end, with all the restrictions and things we'd have to make, it'd be no different/better than hatching an egg in itself. But I believe there is a solution for everything. And every reason for why it couldn't work, could have a reason for why it could, but all the reasons for why it could defeats a point of having the whole system to begin with. And Wajas is its own site, just because a site decides to have breeding doesn't make it wajas. We might as well call this another 'neopets' if we want to go about with that outlook.

I don't think I ever said this won't happen for sure. But unless an idea can be made that prevents the worsening of the economy I would be open ears. I can think of a quick idea. Breeders wouldn't be able to find eggs. They would have to buy them from merchants. But the fact remains, if this did happen (however unlikely it is) it would be wayyy down the road. Like years down the road. |
