i know what you're thinking "Not another one!" but my suggestion isn't conserning the whole should we allow breeding to happen. i happen to strongly disagree with the concept but anyway... back to the point. every few weeks we have a new suggestion to allow breeding that is usually made by someone new to the site. wouldn't it be nice if instead of basically chewing those people out because of the Never-gonna-happen-ness of it we have something like maybe one of the staff threads explaining against it. or maybe adding to the new user information why we don't do it... but just something to prevent this idea from reoccurring so often.

with a "don't suggest this since it won't happen / or is in work" - sticky topic?
Where such things are listed... does not even to be explained. 

Or just no one bother to reply to those threads.

 A way for 'everyone to know' is pointless because not everyone will read it.

I guess there will be always those users who do not read those stickies, but maybe the frequency of reoccurence will decrease though. And in that case we won't have to type long explanations, just point to the sticky.

Also, not answering those topics wouldn't work, as other newbies will answer and post their agreement, and they will have the false idea that most people agree, and that it might eventually be accepted.

but username didn't even aim for that. 'decreasing' is the magic word! i am sure that will happen.

not replying would be more rude then telling the suggestors it won't happen. you don't like to be ignored either, do you?
i agree with Yaizhbeen that there always will be answers, and it's just the ones that agree.
