Unfortunately due to the small population of the game, there are many items that eventually unobtainable simple from items being deleted upon use (eaten, played, read, added to collections, etc.) or unfortunately bought out in mass where the price is manipulated and inflated.
Despite being able to see items being bought out in mass and obviously manipulated, I understand it's part of the game.
Players SHOULD be rewarded for participating in events and there is nothing wrong with event items becoming expensive afterwards. I, and many other players are usually willing to overpay (within reason) despite knowing certain items will eventually or usually return.
Items do not need to return EVERY year, but return on random rotation to encourage selling and hopefully prevent intentional mass buyouts. This is something that I believe Rescreatu has already been doing, with the introduction of the Vintage Golden Bag and with different seasonal events periodically returning. However, I believe staff may not be aware of specific items as some are quite niche and/or from random one-off events and sometimes removed (or maybe rotated?) from prize shops and have slipped through the cracks and have not returned.
Here are some of my item suggestions and ways or events where they can potentially return!
I tried to avoid items already found in VGB and suggest rarer retired items to be put in VGB.
Do feel free to disagree if some items were harder to obtain, since I'm unsure where some of them came from.
