Supports. I see no reason why it should be limited to only a few users. They could gain enough profit so far by lending it. Lets give others a chance too. I do not feel it right that those who were lucky enough to get one ages ago for 10 mill, now can keep gaining on it while "no support"-ing it being available for others again.
Or if you want it to stay so rare, let's implement a breaking risk in it, like with the books. Whenever used it has an x% risk of breaking. That would keep up a constant need for new RRays, and it would make lended zaps more valuable too.

Yaiz, the problem is, you make almost nothing from it. 5k per shot, max, usually. I'm neutral.

so those who were not lucky enough to get them at 10mil and saved up past that and got one from a user will be punished for all the hard work they done in saving? also its abit unfair sticking a limiter on it then it breaks =/
if users want one so badly they can save up

No support. It's not just about the value of the RRay itself or the value of zaps. It's the value of the pet stages as well. Part of the fun/value of pets was supposed to be their stage and waiting for them to age. RRays were destructive to that. Most of us regret that it was unlimited use to begin with and there are still plenty around for those who do not want to wait or would like to keep their pet at a particular stage. It's likely that a way to alter the age of your pet will be released again, but it will not be unlimited use like the RRay is.

The reason why it got so expensive is because it was out of the CS for too long. It should have been put back to CS ages ago, or it should have been stated clearly that it is retired forever. Actually you could say it punished those too, who sold theirs for 10 mill (like me), because they were sure it will come back, and then they can buy one again. And now it is absurdly expensive. And what good is it for those who have one? Even if it is like 50 mill now, they can never sell it, because noone can afford.
Actually I can live without RRay, I do not plan to spend 50 mill on one just because I would zap like one pet every 3 month. But what I would like more than anything is that the staff would anounce clearly what is retired and what is not.
Dear staff: *is RRay retired then? *is Liyure retired? *is Aerix retired?
Etc, etc. That way noone would be punished, as at the point when it is retired, one can decide if they want to spare up for it or not. And not just notice that "oops it was retired" when 2 years pa.ssed and the prices are out of reach :/.
EDIT: I can wait for the pets to age, I never zapped a pet older. However as I collect Intes cocoons, I need them as a teen. If I buy a baby I just wait, but if I can only buy an adult one of a certain colour, even 10 years of waiting won't turn it back to a cocoon. That's all :).

Yes. To a certain extent, I do support. There will be a day when the majority of Rrays are lost via banned accounts and whatnot, and we'll have to live with our wrinkly adult creatu. Don't get me wrong, I love alot of adult creatu, but many are better in their younger forms. Take Intes in their maggot form, they're just to epic to pa.ss by. Maybe, they could release the Rray, but only a limited number of say, 20? Or 50? This makes people feel like, "omg limited edition-must bye." And not only stops the people complaining about the lack of Rrays, but brings in the moneys. (Or tu.)

Its simple. If something has not been announced as retired, then it is not retired. If we decide to officially retire it, then we will announce it so. But just because something has not been retired yet, does not mean it will be available in a game shop. But to quote Gunmetal, there will likely be another CS item that allows you to manipulate the stage of your pet. It will just not be unlimited use like the Rray is.

Specifically it appeared in the updates like: "today the RRay was retired from the Credit Shop." which only means it is temporarily out of the Credit Shop but may (or rather "will") come back. It was in and out like that several time.
With Omni and Kioka it was: "from today Omni and Kioka are retired." End of sentence. It is out forever never be back.
"The RRay is retired." ex pression was never announced like this, unless not on an official place like Updates. It is not written even in Patrick's above post in case you noticed.
I'm glad if there will be an option to change the stage of our pets :). Still makes a huge advantage for those who have RRay and don't have to spend millions on a one-use item to do that :/. Especially if it gets released like "The Age Change Lollipop is now available in the Credit Shop, and the RRay is now officially retired, we just forgot to tell so 1 year ago. Oops." T_T
