Well, not all of these items are actually "retired". Some of them have just been removed and are impossible to obtain right now.

Some of the items you listed were officially retired.

I think some of these items we actually have plans to rework into game play or even to modify functionality so that we can bring them back.

Imitation Revival Potion was never released and may yet be released if we ever create the colors that the item was going to be used for.

If my memory serves me correctly, the scythes are not retired. Nor the planet mirror, discount cards, or planet visas. Regression Ray was removed from game play but not actually retired. We will probably bring back the item in a different manner that is not unlimited use.

I believe we will be selling the creatu fan packs again.

The morphing potions will probably never be back.

I don't agree with bringing back the Beta Tester book. It's called that for a reason. The Ishu was an item awarded to the first 200 (?) people to sign up. Reintroducing some of these items would greatly drive down their value. I also don't agree about old premium packages though I support new ones.
The planet swords originally were found in random events, so I don't mind them being re-introduced. I think very rare random events are the only way I'd like to see some of the aforementioned items re-introduced. I'm fine with scythes being in the CS though.
I fully support the MPs. We have beans that changes colors and tags to change names, why not something to change species? Plus, the potion shop is almost useless in its current state.

I noticed you didn't mention any of the Angelic Wings or  roses of purgatory, death, life, and whatever the other one was. Those are pretty HTF. :o

Something will be here eventually.

I understand that people want to keep items of high value, but 300mil for an Ishu? That is a little high. Maybe if a couple hundred more were re-introduced.. I don't think that would make the price much lower, but give some other users a chance to get an item as rare as that.

Maybe the Scythes, Rray, Visas, Discount Cards, etc. could be put in the credit shop. I know I would spend real money for those items.

Oh, I could add some HA items that are expensive ^^

Definite support for bringing back some of these CS items, for cash-only. That would keep them rare. =)

Yep BM and quite a few people would pay to get them, so Res gets money and users get rare items. It's a win win ^^

From what I remember, Premium Packages were available in the Credit Shop every month for a year, I think. - The books Ego's Pride and Summer Homework were premium items.
Citizen Visa/Passes were used to give a user from one planet, the ability to utilize games/shops that are only available to certain planets for a month. It is, of course a one time use item.
Fan Packs were released for a limited time when a species was first introduced, and as such, will probably never be rereleased. Newer ones are always possible, given there are new species coming out.
And like stated before, the Ishu was a beta item given to the first 200 people to sign up. Rereleasing it would be completely unfair to them. It's not like it was an item that required money to get.

Some of those items might not have been released as items you can purchase with real money, but if they were released again the site could make a fortune because the items are in high demand today.

As for the premium packages, I'm not saying bring those ones back but maybe some new ones.

And how is it unfair? Most of the first 200 people don't even log on anymore.

Agree, but they have to be bought in the CS shop though or like Kir's quest, but probably harder. Most people who own these items get unactive and become banned, so some day the R-ray won't exist

I didn't read everything but here's my 2cents.

Some of the rarer but non-retired items would be fine to bring back, IMO. There's a surprisingly high number of these items that are rare, but not retired, but cost a bundle. allowing them to be found/bought/earned again would be a big bump up for the res economy, as well as making gameplay more interesting for players of all age/money groups, but of course you'll want to bring them back slowly and in small numbers. Perhaps though the black market for a handful of millions? For items as rare as the ones you've shown, 10-20m is nothing basically. It would keep demand for them up, keep prices relatively stable, and allow a wide range of players to purchase them.

Items like beta tester book/ishu, imo, shouldn't be brought back, at least not in the near-distant future. Even if those items cost 300m, they cost 300m, you just have to suck it up and deal with it if you want the items. 300m is really not that hard to make (especially with how easy stocks are to use), and it's a /very/ fair price for such incredibly rare items, and I think they should stay rare. If it happens that these items end up in banned/inactive accounts, all of them, then maybe a revival could be performed for them to bring a few more into circulation, just a couple at a time.

Items like the r-ray, honestly, I think what we have now is just fine. For a relatively tiny fee a player with an r-ray will zap all your pets to their desired ages and then send them back. It may seem like they're sucking up all the tu, but if you really think about it, they are helping to collect and disperse the wealth on res, because a large amount of people will send small amounts of tu and that tu will eventually be used for other things. If a lot of people had an r-ray or similar item with infinite uses, not only would the price of zaps go down, but they may not even be purchased at all if a lot of people had access to easy zapping. A limited-use r-ray item would be a big hit I think, but should be priced relatively high to that those with actual r-rays will still have business. I don't own an r-ray, but i always leave more than the player is asking when I use their services, because it does help move the TU around res. The same happens with other similar items, but an r-ray is a perfect example.

As with any retired/unobtainable thing, it should be reintroduced slowly, with a small number at a time to prevent an overflow of the item to the site, but I think a majority of the items you posted would be fine to reintroduce to the site. Some of them, are not, but the majority are.

I actually agree with most everything you said, Foo c:
I'm kind of changing my mind about wanting to bring back some items like the Ishu, but if it does come back, then awesome ^^

I agree with you about the Rray, but if it were in the CS for a high amount of cash points, it would still be very rare. It would just give some people the chance to get one. But I agree with everything else c:
