With the multitude of effects that we have that require adult pets, I really don't see any downside to this. Huge support. 

It would only make sense - instead of either trying to find someone who is willing to zap pets, or waiting an entire month to put an effect on a creatu... We put some more back into circulation. Even if it's just for a very limited amount of time and they are scarce. 

Plus then more people would be inclined to give effects to their pets so we can utilize the beautiful artwork I'm sure the artists worked hard for!

Even if they want to keep in a 'rare' item just have it out for a limited time or maybe even have some sort of limited quest/festival etc where you can earn one through multiple hard tasks - like kir xD

Support. Especially because there aren't many people around anymore willing to sell zaps.

Maybe make it a Kir Quest prize, and require a very high point price. That way it won't devalue the item too much for those who have recently purchased one.

The way I envision bringing back this item is to make it require some type of ammunition. This way the Regression Ray itself lasts forever, but you continuously need to re-supply on regression ray ammo as you're using it.

The one thing I'm not sure of is if this should be an entirely new item, or if we should change up how the existing Regression Ray works.
