I think it would be too similar to the Malal; and I don't see how this could work out.

How is this too similar to a malal? Malal are giant goats. The only things in common with a bison is its shaggy mane and the fact that it has horns, which are way too long for bison.

Well, okay. It's not exactly alike, but no creatu is exactly alike to each other.
Don't you think this would be a bit too similar?

Even though it would probably have native american markings,
it would just look like an altered Malal. |

this is just how I draw...But malal next to a bison. but the bison have bright tribal markings. plus the bison would probably be changed up a bit with its flatter face, shorter horns, humb on back, and cow like tail. Its more different then it seems

I support. It's very cute! However, the Res artists would probably have to improve in it so it has the kind of "Rescreatu style" that all the other Creatu have. owo I love this idea! <3

I'm going to regret this, but going back to the originality discussion:
There's a buffalo on the MLP:FiM thing. Are you accusing it of stealing Tauros or Bouffalant's design? Of course not! If we're copying ANYTHING, it's God's (Or whoever) American Bison.
I think we should be sued by Him. :U

No. It is not a blue goat. It's an adorable buffalo. And I'd love to see a Native American themed day.
I'm also rooting for colors in this as well. I'd love to see an Albino! C:

I did my take on your idea.(I hope you don't mind.) The colors aren't that great simply because the only things I had to color with were markers, and I would've prefered colored pencils... But anyway, instead of fluffy fur on its head and hump, I decided to go with feathers to be more like a head-dress. The brown areas on the body wouldn't really look like this; I was just trying to show different shades with markers and it didn't work as I'd planned. Here's one with color:
