Usually when I go to the Egg Market I'm looking to buy at least three eggs for the day, often in the same species. Right now you can only buy eggs by clicking one at a time and then going through a pop-up confirmation or two. Really it's not a huge deal, but if you really want to buy in bulk, it's a bit of a hassle.
So I was thinking that it would be cool to have some sort of bulk buying system. This could work a couple of different ways.
1) There could be a simple check box system, similar to the one in rmail, where you check as many eggs as you want and then there is a "Buy All" option at the bottom of the screen.
2) The check boxes could add the eggs to a "Cart" on another page, where users would then check the eggs out. The only thing is that this would be a somewhat unnecessary step unless, perhaps, if one were buying eggs of different species and would otherwise have to repeat the first option once for each species. If that makes sense.
In my opinion, that wouldn't be much of a nuisance, so the first option would work fine. Plus, the first option would keep it easy to just buy a single egg.
So yeah, do you think this would be helpful? Unnecessary?
Thoughts?
