I think this would be a good idea, my only thought about it is that during this time, a lot of people who are busy with school or work (finals can be around this time for schools as well) as well as needing to spend time with family can make it difficult to get candles if its only during the event, and as Void said earlier, candles can run out fast, so people with internet issues can have a hard time getting stuff at restock.
I think it’d be cooler if instead of a shop it could be a RE instead, kind of like the seed stuff during the spring, which should give a more equal ground for players as well.
Personally, I do prefer having it year round just because I can sell candles during this time and it’s a good way to make tu since I tend not to sell creatu and items.
