Now, in my opinion, Res could use an update :) Ok, I'm gonna start with the whole right side of the site. The SB is like frozen until you refresh the page. And if you're trying to do something and keep up with the SB at the same time, it's too easy to fall behind. If Patrick and anyone who controls how the site functions could just take a look at Verpets. If Res could have a live SB like that, it would attract more players and make it easier for everyone. Same with the site's time' it would help if it was constantly keeping track, with out having to refresh the page.

 Now here are some simple ideas to add to different places. I just think there should be a little picture of your pet right before you release it into the wild. Like, after you click the name, it brings you to the "are you sure?" page, that's where the picture should be.

Well, I guess that's all for now. If I think of anything else that might help improve Res I'll post it :)

1. If the SB refreshed by itself, the site would lag more, and some users would not be able to post on time. It'd be difficult to keep up with it because at times, the SB moves so fast that if you were to have it refresh automatically, then it'd just screw you up.

 

2. I like the constant clock idea. Rather than having it frozen in time as we sit on a page, I'd like to have it change the time.

 

3. I think beforew we initially wanted that, but the coding got jumbled and the image never showed, but that would be a good idea. Then people could be sure that they aren't abandoning the wrong creatu.

I love the idea of having a picture of your pet show up before you release it into the wild. I really hope this can be implemented in V2.

I actually prefer the way the SB refreshes right now.  It does get really irritating on a public chatroom that refreshes automatically and goes so fast that you lose the post you are referring to, etc, etc.

 But the picture in the forest would be helpful. :)

there should be a less graphics heavy version for users with dial up etc
