When you look at a creatu's info in a shop or the forest, I doesn't say it's gender. So say you were looking in someone's shop or the forest and wanted a boy kayoki, you couldn't really tell if it was a boy or girl, except by searching for it on the advanced creatu search. I just picked up a creatu at the forest and I wanted a girl one, but it ended up being a boy...
