I was thinking of how badly we needed a fish-like creatu for Atquati. So I looked through everyone's posts about having a fish creatu and also put ideas of my own together to come up with this pet.

This is what it'd look like:
So once a year these fish come up from the deepest depths of Atquati to breed and lay eggs. They go upstream like salmon and lay their eggs in the shallow water where they eventually wash up on the s*censored*s of Atquati. After laying the eggs the adults eventually die.
The eggs look like sand-colored ovals with protective spines to keep them from the jaws of carnivorous creatu as they sit helplessly on the beach. The eggs are about 4-5 inches long.
The baby would hatch and it has two stubs of fins in front that act like tiny legs. It also has two in back right in front of its tail. It slowly pulls itself across the beach to the stream it was laid in. It is quite small, like its egg. Probably only 6 inches or so. It's a grey-rust color, but mostly grey. It has full-grown spines under its chin and on other various areas of its body. It also has a sharp, dangerous dorsal fin and two pectoral fins. Once reaching the water it will begin its long journey back to the abyss as its parents once did.
As a teen, the protective spines will start getting a bit smaller. It is bigger than the baby and it is about three feet long or less. Sharp teeth will begin to form in its mouth with two large retractable fangs forming in front. The leg-like fins that helped it as a baby start to disappear. It was have a small pointy lump where a horn is forming. Right in front of the horn, another thing is forming, a light-up antenna to attract prey when it's older.
In its adult form it has finally reached the abyss. Its horn is fully grown, used for defense. It's antenna for prey is also fully grown. It is about four feet long and it has rows of small sharp teeth including its now fully grown fangs. It has very small dorsal and pectoral fins, which shrunk for speed from when it was in baby form. The tiny leg-like fins from when it was young are now gone. The spines on its body are still very hard and sharp, but a whole lot smaller than the first stage. It has a big tail now to help it cruise through the abyss.

Color: Grey-rust, mostly grey like started above.
Food: It feeds on the unknown species of fish living in the depths of Atquati that scientists are yet to discover. It is dark and not easy to see down in the abyss, so food is hard to come by. This is why this creatu spends most of its life in the abyss eating. Boring huh?
