I think there should be an option to edit your thread ti
tle. It drives me crazy when I typo something or want to name a thread something else. Yes I know it could be confusing to get back to the thread if the name was changed but im pretty sure we could figure it out.

I soupport but there is a downside.

How are people going to find the Rp again? Example let's say a Rp is named.

{We are brothers!} Wolf/Dog Rp {Why must we fight?}

And let's say 50 posts into the Rp I change the name to.

{Our last hope} Wolf/Dog rp {Is in you}

how would people know the thread? Anyways soupport 75%

As convenient as this would be, I can really see some people changing the names of threads constantly just to drive people crazy.  You shouldn't usually have to rename a thread, you can always make a new one.  In sections such as Advertisements where you are only allowed to have one thread at a time, you can easily post on the sticky to have it deleted.  And it's always a good idea to check over your thread ti
tle to make sure it is typo-free before you post it.

I do see where you're coming from, and there are occasions when you would like to rename a thread, but I think it may get too out of hand.  As Shadwolf pointed out, anyone could drastically change the name of a thread, which would be an annoyance if nothing else.

I think it would be easier and less of a bother to simply check over your titles for typos and create new threads when you absolutely have to.

Yes, but sometimes people can be careless. I already stated on the first post it would get confusing to change the ti
tle alot. Im just saying it could be handy to fix typos.

You could always post on the thread and say you're going to change the ti
tle. Or they could look for the thread creator its not like theres going to be a million threads by one person. You'd just check all the titles with similaraties.

Actually, especially in the roleplay forum, often there are 20 or more threads by the same person, many just getting bumped because no one is posting.

Wouldn't you then have to change the URL?

=/

That is a good point.. I'd never really thought about it before. Every time you change your ti
tle, the entire thread's url would have to change, which I imagine could be both a pain for coding and a stress on the servers. But then, I really know very little about coding, so I could be entirely wrong. xD

Well. I'm pretty neutral on ti
tle changing itself. I've never really had a need for it (only times I ever would have were before the v2 Forum), but it could be useful in certain situations.

A solution would be to run the topics over id's not titles like most other stuff here too.

I'd like the option to change titles too.
Esp. for commish boards and so on, so you can ad the "closed" right into the ti
tle.
For sales it would be helpfull too i guess.

I support this, especially on the advertisement forum, where you can have only one thread at a time, and you are expected to edit that one, or get it deleted... Too bad you cannot edit the ti
tle, although maybe you want to sell other things already. Selling a blonde kayoki in a thread where the ti
tle says "black meiko for sale" is not really the most effective way, so there is no choice but to wait until someone from staff deletes the previous thread :(.

If this option would affect the other forums so badly, maybe it could be limited to the advertisement forum (I have no idea if that is possible or not).

Yeah. So instead of making like 13 selling threads you only need one. The only problem would be all the old comments. I think we should be able to delete them -points to other thread-
