To address the concern of increasing chances of finding rare eggs, if this were implemented, it wouldn't.

The option to hide the eggs would be just that, hide them. Similar to the idea of how you use CSS to hide certain elements on your profile. They are still there, you just don't see them.

But still, honestly, would this be a useless feature as there are atleast 2 very common creatu eggs in each planet?
So even when you were hunting kurrabi and disabled otachie, you'd still be stumbling on thousands of meiko eggs as well. That's just my spin on it. I honestly don't think it would be that all of a beneficial feature, unless someone would explain and prove their point that it is a good thing to implement.

Actually, the only planet with two super common eggs is Relcore. Meiko eggs only have a 10% common-ness, as do Sirleon.
It's a beneficial feature just for the happiness of the site; have you seen the amounts of people in the shout box that yell and scream and KILL Otachie eggs, simply because they are annoyed by the constant flow of them? It's simply frustrating to keep finding them. People will still probably complain about not finding the seasonal egg in circulation, but at least they don't develop a hatred for otachies (or other eggs) and a frustration in the shout box. Keeping the positive mood of the site sounds like a worthy application to me ^^

... I can see where you come from, with happiness and all but I've never seen someone throw a fit during seasonal egg hunts, and I'm basically in the shoutbox 23 1/2 hours a day, lol. Sure people can get pretty annoyed, and yes I can admit that every time I see a common egg while seasonal egg hunting I get that, "Wow this is getting old" feeling. But I don't really think this is all that neccesary. I can't imagine it being used at any other time than seasonal egg hunts, and there are what...4 a year? And if this was to be introduced in the cash shop, I can't imagine people purchasing it at any other time than seasonal egg hunts, so maybe they can only be stocked when seasonal egg hunts are ongoing?

I personally don't see this as a necessity on the site, something I can't live without or feel needs to be upgraded / changed. I don't see the point of spending millions upon millions of my tu so an egg doesn't pop up a notification while browsing or hunting. I mean, that's all this really is: a egg pop up blocker. No support from me for this reason, sorry. :c
