Hurr, thanks. xD Oh, the lovely ideas that pop up at two in the morning.. and then that require like, three hours to make, with all the taking a screenshot of every frame and putting 'em together. Haha. I'm actually kinda getting all excited about this. The more I look at this thread, the more I think it's an awesometastic idea. xD The randomness is like, the best. It takes away the possibility of people abusing it, and srsly. Who wouldn't get psyched over suddenly and unexpectedly getting the chance at a Liyure egg or something? That'd be even better than stepping on a planet scythe. 'Least you wouldn't cut off your foot.. That would just have to wait for later on, after you hatch it. 8D Ohlard. Suddenly I'm imagining Allen losing one of his feet and becoming a pegleg.. xDD Lard, I'm on a sugarhigh. /ramble

It isn't once a month. It is only once in your creatu's lifetime.. once a year is a nice idea though.. nice yoshi :) and I would rather keep my foot thank you very much..

One in a lifetime, if you get to choose when, people who've amm*censored*ed tons of CS will have a bunch of creatu. o-o I suppose I could agree but, imo, I still think CS should not be allowed to breed. o-o it just...it just defeats the purpose of them being cs pets. For the others, though, once in a lifetime would be good, but why not just hunt the eggs instead. :P

Super - They might be CS pets, but they're retired now. They can't be found in the Credit Shop any longer. My point being? Where else will they be available to those who are truly desperate for one, and are willing to pay good money for an egg?

I know. The whole point of retiring the eggs is to encourage people to buy them while they are in the CS. o-o If CS could breed, even if only once in a lifetime, less people would buy the eggs when new and current ones go into the shop. I see your point, though. I know that the retired CS pets will soon have no eggs left, but creatu breeding isn't really the answer to that. There will continue to be more and more of them as they continue to breed, more people will join res and breed them and more and more will be around. And, if you need two creatu to make one egg, you will make a total of half the existing amount, then half that amount, then half that amount, and etc. Evenually, you won't be able to breed any more anyways. I'd say, when the eggs run out, Pat should do something like a limited-number hunt/lottery/etc. for like, five of each kind. Creatu breeding will also no doubt further worsen the pricing chrisis we are in right now. o-o I mean, it's a decent idea, don't get me wrong, I just don't think it would work out well in the long run. I just don't see pat doing something like this, since he has said before creatu will never be able to breed on res. :P

But, eventually, you'd come right back to this point of not having eggs. o-o even if it is only once a year. Unless every CS could have an egg each, even the males ones, then we would double the amount we have every year, if everyone got them. If we require two to make one egg 1000 CS lay 500 eggs. 500 eggs hatch, lay 250 eggs, 250 eggs hatch, lay 125 125 lay 65 65 lay 32 32 lay 16 16 lay 8 8 lay 4 4 lay two two lays one last one, can't lay eggs. Back to square 1. On top of that, I think there's many more male creatu than females, so that^ sequence of egg laying would likely speed up. 1000 eggs in one year can't possibly be good for their prices and rarity. It just wouldn't work for the long-term. o-o CS were meant to be retired after some time. Just like how they don't have the normal dye kit colors, but have their own seperate one, they are unique and should probably stay expensive, even if the eggs run out, there will always be hatched versons that can be bought. I would say a lottery of some type or a temporary release of them into the CS shop every, 5 years or so release 100 eggs would probably work in the long-term.

You don't see it as I do. Let's say my neighbor is from canada, and has a big coffee tin full of canadian nickels in his closet. One day I stop by his house to sell him some cookies (I'm a girl scout) and we all know that girl scout cookies can only be purchased once a year. He decides to get a box, and pays me the required $3.50. He gave me three 1 dollar bills, a quarter, one dine, a nickel five pennies and a canadian nickel. I collect my money and when I get home I realize what I have on my hands and am totally excited! The only thing is, I still owe girl scouts a nickel - so I have to pay out of pocket. But hey! i got a canadian nickel in return. The next year I return and yet again he purchases a box of cookies, but this time he wrote me a check. The moral? I never know what I'll get.. I might even have to give him change. It's totally random, but could happen once a year. Some years you may get a canadian nickel, and some years you'll have to make change for a 5 dollar bill. The possibilities are endless. Like my idea, this could happen once a year, but it doesn't always. About 10% of people who meet the requirements could actually get an egg. I apologize for the neopets reference, but... not everybody's pets get zapped by boochi, though some do. You never know!

No, I understand what you mean by the randomness, but my point is you'd still eventually get back to this point of nobody having the eggs because all breedable creatu have been exausted- even if that's in five years, it'll still happen. What then?

an item that will 'fertilize' your pet? so it is once into a lifetime, but you but that item from the Credit Shop for 100 credits, and it will let you make one of your pets 'fertile' just once again. So, person X has two omnis, male and female, which laid an egg. X pays 15m to accept the egg, but then X wants to get another egg. Then X will have to spend 20m to buy two 'fertilizers', one for each of their omnis. Some time later, which would probably be over a year, the omnis have another egg. Then, paying another 15m, X has two omni eggs! X hatches those omnis, and now X has another pair of omnis that can lay eggs. And if they're both the same gender, X can buy a gender pendant. Also, pets should only be able to lay eggs if they're 'engaged'. And for pets to be engaged there should be another Credit Shop item (engagement rings?). And you can buy them for 100 credits. That should make them rare. Or even better. To have two CS pets engaged you'll have to buy a rarer and more expensive engagement ring. Maybe you can get 3 pairs of normal rings with the 100 credits pack, which work for common and seasonal pets, and there should also be a special ring, only one for 200 credits, that can engage CS pets.

I really do support Makah's idea. It would also help gender pendants to sell.

I also say that it shouldn't be a random event like the egg-finding ones and such, but instead more like the alerts/new updates one. It could have a green background and say 'Your pets have laid an egg!' And then you click on the word 'egg' and it takes you to a page where you can accept the egg. You need to have the amount of tu requested to accept the egg on hand. Common pets should be free, seasonals should cost a few millions, and CS eggs, as stated before, 15m. If you don't have the money yet, you can come back any other time by clicking on a link that could be added to the navigation bar. Something like 'laid eggs', I dunno. Maybe it's too much, these are just some ideas ^^;

o-o Tbh, that would be a huge turn off for joining any pet site, at least to me. I like res presicely because our creatu can't breed, lay eggs, get married, or get engaged.

Engagement = no. o3o I imagine Creatu as being animalistic.. and animals don't marry. It would take away that awesome sense of realism Res has, and that's definitely do not want.

I wouldnt mind a chance to get a male albino to name him after Snowey's son but fact is this would cause more problems. The staff would have to make a way to tell if the pets had been bred already this would also decrease the creatu value but also the staff would have to put a system in just for the event. Don't they work hard enough?
