I know how many times this has been suggested but I think it should be suggested again to call more attention to it.

We need some flash games.

I've been on Rescreatu for 2 years and in that time I have completed creatu collections, made millions of tu on stocks and clicked countless times searching for items in the search box or in the usershops for quests. Frankly, I'm bored. The games on rescreatu are hardly stimulating at all. Everything is way too repetitive and it requires no intelligence or strategy (besides maybe the meiko mind game, of which the stragey was already revealed). Flash on the other hand responds to what you do with the keys or mouse. Sometimes they get repetitive but that is usually when you have played the game for a very,very long time and have figured out the strategy. And if you have a variety of games to choose from people won't get as bored with them. Plus there could be a high score table where you can compete against other users for the highest score and maybe get something on your awards module if you have the top score or make little item ribbons that people could display in their galleries.

I do realize however that finding a flash programmer has been difficult and especially one that will do it for credits. However I think there are things that can be done to aid in the search for one (or maybe two or three since it may go better and faster with many hands).

1. Advertise for a Flash Programmer. I haven't seen much advertisement for a flash programmer. So what I was thinking we could do is make a banner (one that says "Flash Programmer? Looking for some payment? Want people to adore you for making their lives a little less mundane? Apply for Rescreatu game designer today!) and place it in the ad space that is currently not being used right now. You could also put it in the games section where people who like games will see it. I find it hard to believe that of all the 100k more people who join rescreatu one or two of them were not flash programmers or had some expirience.

2. Advertise on other sites. I know deviantart (a place the is full of flash programmers) has an advertising option for other websites. However it does cost money. But that is the only barrier I see and that could come through credit shop purchases, or ad revenue (which I am aware we don't have right now).

3. Maybe offer to pay them real money. Flash games are time consuming and equipment is expensive. (I think they should try and find someone with the programs already) I'm pretty sure this can be done through paypal.

I realize these things cost money, but so does most everything else. And I think Rescreatu deserves this. It really is a unique pet site and I hate to see old members becoming bored and only showing up once in a while to check stocks and then immediately leave. I am also aware that flash games aren't the only way of increasing interest but there are many things being suggested right now (such as daily quizzes, contests, art galleries ect.) that can make rescreatu even more fun than it already is.

Please post if you agree and ideas that may make this even more effective or efficient. I want this to stay in the public eye and not fade away onto forum page 5.

Totally support. Games are the first place a user looking to make Tu will peek at, and frankly I was rather disappointed not to find any easy Flash games.

 What I, personally, would like to see:

* A Snake clone

* A platformer (think old school Mario)

* A shooter (doesn't have to be a violent one - throwing beanie-bags at targets or something would work just fine)

* Puzzles. Word games, image puzzles, anything you have to use your brain for.

As for the money issue, ad spaces in/on the games or something could work, or have certain games/levels you need credits to unlock (shouldn't be all of them though).
