Time to make a creatu suggestion me thinks.

Attempt at original creatu suggestion, not heavily based on any single animal.

Appearance:

The Fynn is a tetrapod (4 limbs) mammalian creatu. It is about the same height as a cat. It has a long, lithe body with short, cat like legs. It's body is covered with short, golden fur which shines like a light in darkness. It has a mostly flat face with a small black nose, small mouth, huge pale eyes and large ears. Just in front of it's ears, coming out of it's head are two long, antennae like feathers, also golden in color. It's tail is made up of three large, thick feathers plus many smaller, thin ones (like a lyre bird). There is one feather coming out of the end of each ear. Short feathers protrude from it's elbows and knees.

Deion:

The Fynn is a small creatu which was once abundant in the caves of Reiflem. It had incorporated the flecks of gold found in these caves into it's fur, making it the same hue as the metal. It's golden fur can produce a light which shines through the dark caves, attracting cave dwelling insects to the Fynn, which are it's prey. Its abnormally large eyes allow it to see in this almost pitch dark environments, though the eyes lack pigment because they don't need protection from sunlight. However, it can still be hard to spot the tiny camoflauged insects in the dark, so the Fynn also relies on it's very large ears as a major sense. It's golden feathered tail is used to sweep up the dust in the caves as the Fynn leaps around, causing the insects to be flipped into the air so that it can catch them. The Fynn's large eyes often seem moist, as if it is crying, but they are kept that way to protect them from the dust that the creatu flings around.

At one time miners used to use the Fynns as gold detectors, since they often hang around veins of gold in the caves. However, once the miners had used the creatu's to find all the gold in one cave they would often kill and skin them to sell their golden fur on the black market. Eventually this lead to the decline of the Fynns, and at one point people even thought that they had become extinct. But a small population of them lived on in the deepest of tunnles, and have just now started to reoccupy the cave tunnels closer to the surface, where they were discovered by archeologists looking for Fynn fossils in these caves. They since have been bred in captivity and made available to the public to keep as pets.

Fynn are rather solitary creatures, since in caves they wont often hang around each other for the light from their fur can hurt each others sensitive eyes. Even though they are solitary, Fynn are still curious and friendly towards humans, which was how the gold miners took advantage of them. They have no natural predators in their cave environments, and so have not developed a response to predators, often being too trusting of other creatures. It is recommenced to keep pet Fynn's in dim lighted areas, and not to
take them out into the light unless they have protective eye gear on. Their large ears are also highly sensitive, so a quiet environment is best for their well being. Because of the Fynn's love on insects as food, it is not recommend to keep any Intes around if you own a Fynn. It is also worthy to note that Fynn will still practice their natural behavior of leaping around in circles even in captivity even though there is no cave dust, so it is best to keep the areas where you keep them clear of anything they could accidentally knock over. But even though these creatu are very high maintenance, it is often worth it to have such a beautiful and friendly pet.

Notes:

I was thinking that this suggestion would make a good CS pet, because of how rare they have become in the wild, though I realize that it may need something more special about it to qualify as CS quality.

I picked the name to fill the empty slot of a creatu name starting with the letter F.

I would love to have a drawing of a Fynn, but I can't draw at all. If any artist is willing, I am willing to pay a good amount for a pictorial representation of the creatu to go along with my worded deion. Rmail me if you are interested.

Any further suggestions on how to improve this idea are welcome.

Nothing about the creatu idea is aquatic though. I chose the name Fynn because the name means 'Fair', as in blonde, like the creatu's fur. I do not think it would fit well as the aquati seasonal at all, since nothing about it has a water theme, and I think changing it into an aquatic creatu would just be completely changing the idea all together.
