I wanted to suggest a Ghost Dye kit! It isn't really a "Ghost" but, it reminds me of them. Here is what it looks like, on a liyure: 
I don't know, I just thought it came out really cool! I think there more of "Glowing" pets, even though, they don't really have to glow. I could only do it on a liyure, I couldn't find how to make an other pet like that, but maybe someone else can? Anywho, tell me what you think! Thanks. C= |

Like what I said on Rei's board, I think dye kits should remain for just colors (Not types, abilities, etc.). If it becomes a ghost kit it makes me think of Neopets. You know, the brushes and stuff? I mean, cool idea, but I'd really rather have Res stay unique. Unless, of course, they changed colors by other means. (Not Dye Kits.) I dunno though. *shrug* |

Uwi, it wouldn't have special abilities, it's just an ordinary dye color. Nothin special. X3 Just the ghostly illusion, unless it were to be renamed.

EW. I'm sorry, total disagreement. Your thinking Neopets, Youngs. If we get a Ghost Dye Kit, we'll be getting 'Strawberry' and 'custard' and 'Ice' and, heaven forbid, 'Jelly.'

Because having a dye kit that gives pets the color scheme of a ghost constitutes that we must eventually have more dye kits that give pets color schemes that closely resemble other highly specific color schemes that are unique to Neopets. |

So much of neopets... I don't even have a neopets account. O_o If I', right, doesn't neopets sort of change the shape and pose when painted? I think I've seen that on a commercial.

I also disagree mainly because of it being to much relation to neopets. =X but I also disagree because this particular color scheme is rather painful on the eyes. |

Maybe we can have a 'Neon' dye kit that would make the pet black/dark grey with bright coloured markings? That wouldn't be so harmful to the eyes, and it's kinda realistic. I'd dye my hair black with neon-green highlights xD

My parents would kill me if I did so xD and I kinda like my hair color so I think I'll keep it this way ^^ but I'd really really love to have black and neon hair .0. A Neon Dye Kit could work for both normal and CS creatu, but would be more expensive than normal DKs?

I just want to put in that it's not really so much that we want to stay away from Neopets as it is we want to stay true to Rescreatu. Besides, Neopets isn't the only site that does "themes" like that -- tons of other sites use brushes, boxes, potions, etc. but for the most part, Res is a little more realistic. I say that comparatively, of course, because Rescreatu is still entirely a fantasy. xD But we do like to have a bit more reasoning and explanation behind our features than just "Poof! Wow, your pet is suddenly a fairy!". And I won't say that pets will never have themes of any sort here, but if they do, then you can bet there'll be a good story behind it and it probably won't come from a dye kit.
