What if you could show your birthdate on your profile? If you wanted, anyway. Once you wake up on your birthday, and get on Res, you log in and it says "Happy Birthday!" When you check your inventory, you find a nice birthday cake, an item you can only get for your birthday. "What a lovely cake. Happy Birthday! This item can be fed to your pet for an effect of 50 hunger. This item has 10 servings left." The cake can feed 10 pets! You can send slices to your friends, too! How nice. Of course, they'll have to send something back. Your friends are notified as a comment on their profile with a small "Its someones birthday!" message. You get showered with gifts and all your pets are happy. Your avatar is a one-day-only birthday avatar for the forums, and your HA is wearing a cute little birthday hat. Of course, it'll be gone tomorrow, but who cares? Its your birthday! (Maybe your name in the SB will be a new color...?)
