So actually I detest all special birthday events. I do not like if random people or websites know when my birthday is. When I first registered Res, adding birthday was not necessary. I was really pissed off when one day the site did ask for my birthday out of the blue. I am very grateful that they do not display it in any way though, and I hope it will stay that way. And I do not want them to make special events or anything to remind me "We know your birthday which is actually a personal data".

I do not want my name getting rainbow, or strange hat or anything appearing on my HA, or my avvie change randomly or anything!!! That would mean I cannot post in SB or in forums without everyone whom I don't even know attacking me with "Happy birthday!". I do not even want the site sending happy birthday mail, because do they know me? No! Then just leave me alone please?

If anything of this get added please an OFF button get added too! And big NO to displaying birthday on my profile ever!

EDIT: Actually, why do not add this on your joining anniversary? The date you joined Res is displayed anyways, that could be your Res birthday. I wouldn't mind that at all. But I do not want my real life self and Res self get mixed in any way. Yaizhbeen and my real self are not the same and have no need to interfer. 

I support! This is an amazing idea. It's more personal with the user and it would make us feel speshul. O3O



Also, for those who do not want their birthday to be celebrated, there could be an option for that. "Show Birthday" and "Hide Birthday". Simple as that. :)
