So sick of the SPAM. Cannot wade through trades any longer. @____@

"DO NOT OFFER ANY TRADES. DO NOT WANT TRADE. WILL DECLINE ALL TRADES. KEEPING FRESH."

These users really need to learn that the eggs aren't staying fresh in the trades. The eggs are actively spoiling on a regular schedule.

I think this could be solved by writing at the top of the trades page "Eggs will spoil in trades at the same rate they spoil in hatcheries" or some similarly obvious thing.

Additionally, it would really help to have page numbers on "Your Trades" and "Your Offers" because I can't find an easy, fast way to access any trades older than the 5 most recent ones.

Support. Perhaps an update AND a notice in red for item trades could be done. :I

This is considered glitch abuse. I didn't know it was going on - please report all users who are doing this and they will be issued warnings and/or banned if they don't knock it off.

As usual, anyone who reports another user for any type of abuse will remain completely anonymous.

Buh. It would take more time to report all the "keeping fresh" trades than it takes me to skip them when looking for good stuff. D8 There are honestly that many users who are doing it. The next time there is a seasonal hunt, just go and look at the trades. There are at least a dozen users doing it regularly.

I don't think it's exactly abuse, but just a lack of information. They haven't realized the eggs don't stay fresh. (I guess their hatcheries have buckets and buckets of eggs, so many that they don't notice cancelled trade eggs being spoiled.)

It would go a long ways to just have a notice posted at the top of the trades page.

It's more like attempted glitch abuse than actual glitch abuse, since they're not actually abusing any sort of glitch, but they're trying to abuse a glitch they THINK is there.

I would support having a notice at the top of the trades (months ago I was complaining about the egg spam, too), but the last time someone suggested we add a notice to a page (A small red notice saying multiple accounts are forbidden on the register page) we were told Patrick is very picky about the look of things. So it'd be his final decision on whether a notice about eggs still spoiling would look okay on the Trades page.

I've asked Pat to limit the number of item trades each user can have to five or less. It's super spammy in there anyway, eggs or no eggs.

Unfortunately, a notice isn't going to stop them from doing it. As I said before, if you guys will report it when you come across it, I will be happy to send out rmails asking them to take them down.

Staff is incredibly short-handed at the moment, so us going through them just for the purpose of finding them isn't something we are able to make time for at the moment. If skipping through them is more important than reporting, it must not be that bad though huh? ;]

I think limiting a user's trades to a maximum of 5 (or even 10) would solve the problem. That way, even if there's storage in trades, WHO CARES. The spam is minimized. There's less of it to skip over or report. <~ this would make reporting it actually a manageable situation.
