I do not know for sure what the new forums will be like, but I do know signature sizes will be required to be adhered to for images. This will be written into the rules.

No support. Tinypic codes actually do work. All you have to do is that, when you put the code on the box, take off the letters in red here:

It's just advertisment that takes off space. It doesn't do any bad to take it off.
I would personally prefer just a size limit in pixels limit to the forum signatures instead of the character limit. Mostly because I've run into problems linking artwork someone has made for me back to their shops or whatnot and having the character limit stop meh. D<
I agree with SaruSaru. There are some obnoxiously large signatures that just plane bother me but can be used simply because the coding is short enough while sometimes a moderately sized sig, such as a small banner, egg, and online status get blocked by the limit.
