How cool would it be if there was a inverted dye kit and it inverted the color of the current color of a pet

that's a lot of extra images for the artists just for 1 dye kit. think about it - every pet in every color inverted, thats just excessive. x.x

I disagree for that reason.

Inverting colors is simple. You just press a button and wham. Inverted.

So I don't see how hard it would be for artist to do. Better yet, it might be one of the easiest tasks for them. xD

Yeah. But I've never seen an inversion like that that wasn't garish. Against, for that reason, and because it's pointless.

I don't really like inversions. It kind of hurts my eyes, but I still think it is an interesting idea.

Inversions are interesting at first because they are something new. But looking at them for a long time, they just don't look nice in my opinion. I doubt many people would like to have a pet like that on the long run (at least not an active profile pet, as in collections people tend to hoard just about anything).

Thing is, with the exception of the obvious fantasy elements of the site, Rescreatu generally tries to steer its features (colours, pets, etc.) in a more logical direction than most petsites.  That doesn't quite get across the point I'm trying to make, actually.  Look at our currently available colours -- hatchable colours all mimic schemes that you would see occurring on a real animal.  Dye kits are only lurid and garish because the as sumed story is that you're "dying" your pet an unnatural shade by hand.  Again, perfectly believable.  That's why we can't "paint" Creatu different themes, like Neopets' Strawberry and Jelly examples.

I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting -- be it just making a Creatu the opposite colour scheme of what it is right now, or doing a full invert on the image itself -- but either way, without a convincing, could-be-real-but-isn't explanation for the colour, I don't see it fitting with the site's style.

...As hilarious as it would be to have hordes of blue-eyed, white-outlined, black albinos running amok. xD

Lol, I have no need for an inverted Dye Kit, I have a Mac, I can just invert the colors of the entire page if I want with a few button clicks. In fact, I'm typing with it inverted now because I feel like it (the banner looks pretty epic for a while I must say). Anyway, I don't support this. For reasons, see other non-supporters like Tamia and Yaiz
