Im not sure if this was suggested before but what about a item contest?
normal users can give a image or discribe what the item looks like. and the winning item will be a new item for res,
certian things wont be accepted like items based on your name... so i cant make a Darksoul93 squishy or anything like that. so say you wanted Gondra wings for your Avatar that will come out soon you cud suggest that or a alien fish for the fishing game and the list can go on.
this will be like that book contest thing =]
i would like to know what you think and why also anything you think might make this idea better i will edit and add what others say =]

I like it. ;o I know they've done a contest-like thing before for holiday and premier package items, where users came up with possible new items, and I found it pretty darn fun. People had some really good ideas too.
